It is necessary to write why certain literary source was used, why it is important for the academic paper, what material was taken from this literary source. In general, it is not very difficult but a little bit boring work. According to requirements, quantity of literary sources for dissertation should be bigger than hundred, so it means that it is necessary to describe more than hundred sources, which you used during writing your dissertation.
